![]() ![]() Did we have fun? Yes but then again my husband and I have fun no matter where we go. I don't normally write bad reviews but considering the pricing for a room and the $40 amenities automatic charge I think people should know. I am not new to the DS scene so it wasn't just a misunderstanding thing. The dungeon Mistress was unfriendly and came off with a strange vibe. I do have to say that 3 of the dungeon staff were absolutely lovely, one, in particular, is not only experienced but very nice (and very attractive). ![]() Also, the fog machine and heavy base make staying there any length of time unpleasant if you want to continue to hear after a scene. The dungeon although well equipped and staffed has some strange rules (must use 3 toys or so we were told). When I reported it to the front desk, they asked if the AC was on at night and were apologetic. This is despite having the AC on 72 all night. So after getting home I had to wash everything including my bag to get the smell out. A fine layer of smelly moisture all over the room, the food, the floors, our clothes, our bags EVERYTHING. The REALLY BIG PROBLEM was that when we woke up everything was damp. Not really a big deal but slightly irritating. When we asked the front desk to correct the problem, they sent maintenance he informed us the problem was wi-fi (we had no problem with wi-fi) when I checked at the front desk, they said that that was not the problem and they would get me another remote. The TV remotes did not work as advertised and changing the input on the TV wasn't possible (something they advertise). Upon entry, we saw some flaws but nothing that could not easily be forgiven. The Drag Show was fun and after our first experience, we decided to book a room. ![]() Although it was a different crowd and people were a bit friendlier we noticed that it was still very cliquish and difficult to make friends with people. On our second trip we went on a weekday to see if the crowd was different. Everyone seemed very divided and not many people were very friendly. Anyone we did approach was not even interested in talking. The first was a White Party, which was pretty standard for a white party in a club but we found the people to be VERY clique oriented and difficult to approach. SMHĪlthough we were excited to find a lifestyle club that was not in Miami (just not traveling that far), Secret's dropped the ball on both occasions that we visited. I can say at least we still have our Brand-New Unused Halloween costumes for next year somewhere else. We are no longer interested in buying anything from this place. We only went to Lowe's to try to fix the tub ourselves. We didn't get to follow our investment plan and discuss it with anyone. So, we didn't get to meet one person other than the desk person. We went to the office twice and called twice. But not at this place! Nope the maintenance personnel even lied straight to my husband's face. Shoot, by day four I would have taken a cold bath if the tub had a stopper and could hold water. As I have been waiting for anyone to contact us about the deplorable room we rented in October that completely ruined a hallmark event for us I have been wondering how they can stay in business with such horrible customer service? Who really wants to spend their first real vacation in over 2 decades either locked in a room or at Lowe's trying to fix the tub? Hot water in both the shower and jet tub we rented the room for would be nice. ![]()
